Make a Difference Day in Kyles Ford

A busload of Tennessee AmeriCorps service members will be arriving en masse on October 25th for 2008 Make a Difference Day. Members will join forces to accomplish some much needed improvements at the River Place grounds and facilities. They may have all the manpower they need but could always use donations of funds, materials, or food for the crew.

The AmeriCorps is a state and national service program that works like a grant but endows personell instead of funding for school programs and non-profit community organizations. Visit www.americorps.org to find out how you can make a contribution of service in your area.
